About This Site

Chilton County Released Inmates is a private reference site for people trying to understand where a released person may appear after leaving the jail roster. It organizes the sheriff's release roster, public-records request path, ADOC search limits, parole and probation contacts, VINELink, BOP, and ICE routing in one place.

Why This Site Exists

Alabama makes many jail, court, and release records available under public-records law, but the search path is rarely obvious. Chilton County uses a sheriff's 48-hour release view for recent jail releases. Older jail records move to the sheriff's public-records process. State-prison records move through the Alabama Department of Corrections, and supervision questions often point to the Alabama Bureau of Pardons and Paroles.

This site brings those paths together for Chilton County released-inmate research. It does not host the records, change them, certify them, or replace the agency that created them.

What Is Included

The site focuses on practical release-record routing, including:

  • how to search recent Chilton County jail releases and request older release records;
  • how ADOC's current-custody search differs from a released-prisoner record;
  • where parole, probation, and mandatory supervision fit after release;
  • how VINELink, BOP, and ICE may apply when the custody path leaves the county jail.

What This Site Cannot Do

This is not a sheriff's office, jail, court, corrections department, or government agency. It cannot release anyone, hold anyone, transfer anyone, post bond, schedule visits, send money, certify a release date, or give legal advice.

  • Only the originating office can confirm its own record.
  • Only a court can answer court-process questions.
  • Only the jail or corrections agency can explain current custody status.
  • Only a qualified professional can provide legal advice.

Use official sources for final confirmation before acting on a custody or release record.

Search Partners

Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those providers set their own prices, terms, search scope, and result display. If a visitor chooses a paid partner tool, this site may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the public reference pages available, but it does not give this site control over partner results or pricing.
